How to meditate with plant?
We designed the Plant Melody App to help you connect with your plant(s) by meditating together!
Step 1
Select a potted plant of your choice, placing it close to you. Sit with your back straight or lie down comfortably.
Step 2
Close your eyes and take deep breaths. Allow your mind to settle and your body to relax.
Step 3
Gently touch, stroke, or caress the plant and feel the connection. Imagine the energy of nature flowing into you through your fingertips. Deeply inhale and fill your lungs with the plant’s soothing aroma.
Recognise that you are not separate from nature, but are part of the web of life. As you connect with the plants, you strengthen this bond. Feel the healing energy of nature calm your mind and relax your body.
Step 4
Pay close attention to your breathing. Inhale through your nostrils for a count of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and exhale through your mouth with the same count. Breathe deeply and synchronize your breath with the music's tempo.
Stay in the present moment, releasing any other thoughts. If your mind drifts, bring your focus back to your breath and music.
Step 5
Thoughts will come and go. Observe your thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgment, and gently continue to bring your focus back to the breath.
Step 6
Conclude the meditation with a few deep breaths. Gradually open your eyes and take note of how you feel. Express gratitude for meditating, thanking both the plant and yourself for this moment of peace, relaxation, and inner light.

Plant Melody is the result of a collaboration between a composer and plant scientist. They wanted to create revolutionary meditative music to nourish you and your plants. The stars aligned when Marta Kluba, a musician, artist, and designer, connected with plant biologist Dr Michal Mos.
